a light at the end of the tunnel – psoriasis journey #5

It’s been a while since my last psoriasis update, so here it is! I’ll also be updating my blog with posts about how my move to Seattle is going, career happenings, and some other general life things. Stay tuned for that.

Here’s my hand! If you don’t remember what it used to look like, it’s pretty unremarkable; if you have seen the first 4 parts of this series you’ll know this is an insane improvement.

Side note I think it’s funny you can kind of see where I broke my middle finger in 7th grade…

My nails are smoother, I can grow them out longer, I do have black vertical lines under my nail once in a while and I’m pretty sure it’s just splinter hemorrhages (harmless). Unsure what they’re from though.

My hair is growing longer!! I don’t have scalp crust anymore!! I’m so happy!!

I’m going to have to schedule with a dermatologist in my new state soon, and I’ll ask how long I need to be on Skyrizi. I hope it’s not forever, but in case it is, I won’t have an issue injecting it. I’ve become a pro.

Here’s a quick comparison of my hand/nails over time so far:

Aaaaand for good measure here’s a comparison of my hair over time:

Thanks for coming along on this journey with me!
