“If you could make your pet understand one thing, what would it be?”

I already know Stuffing loves me, and he knows I love him. He shows me that all the time. So I won’t use up my one thing on something he already is aware of!

I want him to know that I’m trying to help him but I can’t.

He’s overgrooming – he’s licking his arms bald because he needs more mental stimulation. I’m trying. I went on Nextdoor and bought some secondhand cat puzzle feeders, and I’m going to see how he responds to that.

If he doesn’t take to the puzzles, I’m not sure what to give him… Stuffing is an only cat, and as much as I want to give him a sibling, (and as much as he needs a playmate), I can’t do it.

I can’t afford an adoption fee, I can’t afford more food, I can’t afford more litter… I’m so sorry Stuffing. I really am. One day you will get a sibling, but for now you’ll have to make do with the puzzles and more playtime. I wish you could understand I’m trying.
